I haven't been to New Orleans in over 20 years and this was the perfect way to reintroduce me back to this amazing food. The gumbo was my favorite! Naif was a wonderful tour guide with so much knowledge not just of the food but of the history behind it!  It was the highlight of our trip! Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a food tour in the French Quarter. Of course the food was excellent being that it is New Orleans but not only was Naif very knowledgable about the food itself. He is also a local and a former teacher who answered questions about the origin of the foods within the political/historic atmosphere of the time. He also pointed out architecture and was able to  answers all sorts of general inquiries regarding French Quarter/New Orleans. Naif even got our feedback on the foods to try and rotate through his selections and give guests the best possible experience. A most delightful three hours or so with Naif and a trainee guide Kevin (also a local historian). Just the right length of time and just the right amount of food, ending up feeling full, but not too full. Mixed up with information about the food was an insight into the history of New Orleans, its culture and its people, all presented in an engaging manner. Naif was knowledgeable, compassionate, kind & funny. He made us feel welcome and educated. A natural at what he does, we recommend him and this tour 10/10! The food was incredible (we stopped by 5 places) and our guide was superb. We had a chance to meet a new tour guide named Kevin. If you have an opportunity to work with him, you’re in for a treat! Our tour guide, Naif, provided us with an authentic experience and was knowledgeable on the history of the food and the city. Each of the food locations we went to had tasty food and drinks as well as hospitable service. We were lucky enough to not be in a large group, so we were able to spend extra time touring the city. Naif went above and beyond what was expected. I highly recommend this tour! Naif will make you feel more like a friend than a tourist. Thanks for everything, Naif!

We loved our time in the French Quarter on the  tour. The food was delicious and the information was very interesting.  The history of New Orleans culture and cooking gave us new insights into the city.  We highly recommend this tour.
