We had a great time on our food tour! Our guide, Naif, was friendly and knowledgeable, like hanging with your uncle who's taking you to all the best local spots and giving you lots of background and history along the way. (We felt safe with Naif!) We had such delicious food, including jambalaya, gumbo, crawfish etoufeé, muffaletta (group's overall favorite), and pralines. I absolutely recommend this tour for foodies and history lovers! This doesn't take any points away, but while Naif is a great guide and very open and personable, the neurospicy among us found there to be a lot of direct eye contact. Great if you like or don't mind that, uncomfortable if you don't. We also fully realize that it is our responsibility to communicate those feelings, and we did not.

Naif was our guide and he explained the history of the foods along with some of the fascinating facts about the city as we visited 5 different locations. The restaurants were all prepared to seat us when we arrived and the food was so delicious that it's hard to pick a favorite dish! This experience was indeed was the highlight of my trip! If anyone I know is planning to visit New Orleans, this food tour with Naif is a must! Thank you Naif for such a great experience!
Gail Jackson2024-11-13Informative and entertaining historical narrative by Raif accompanying each of the delicious dishes we had on this leisurely walking tour as well as the family style hospitality we were extended along our way made this tour a delight for the tastebuds as well as the mind all wrapped up in the otherworldly setting of New Orleans culture and atmosphere. The creole jambalaya, duck gumbo, crawfish etouffe, muffaletta, and pecan praline were all excellent and the portions were perfect size. It reminded me of the great camaraderie and fellowship of old time "progressive dinners"! Thank you noculinarytours.com for a wonderful afternoon!
Berenice Reyes2024-11-10My husband and I enjoy the tour. Naïf is very friendly and full of history to share during the tour. We visited 5 locations, eating our way through each one. The portions were small but perfect. I especially enjoyed the history part of each food. It was a 3 hour tour but the time went by quickly. Definitely recommend the tour.

Naif is a wealth of knowledge on the history of New Orleans and the history of the wonderful food served in this city! He carefully chooses restaurants in New Orleans that serve up the delicacies he showcases. You cannot go wrong with this food tour and you will remember Naïf’s logo “You are Safe with Naif” along with Gaston 🐊(the mascot of the tour)!!! The Van Lith Family
