Cameron Hamlin2024-07-29I haven't been to New Orleans in over 20 years and this was the perfect way to reintroduce me back to this amazing food. The gumbo was my favorite! The tour was first class and Naif our guide was very knowledgeable of the food and the culture. I would recommend this tour to first timers and veterans of the city.John Morse2024-07-15My partner and I absolutely loved this tour. Naif provided us a rich history of New Orleans outside of just the food. Every meal we had on this tour was delicious and the amount of walking wasn't too bad. Highly recommend and would definitely take the tour again!Shawn Green2024-07-08Naif was a wonderful tour guide with so much knowledge not just of the food but of the history behind it! It was the highlight of our trip! The foods selected were a great representation of New Orleans and I felt I knew New Orleans better! He even gave us pointers on where to find fresh seafood to take home!Taylor Cox2024-06-25Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a food tour in the French Quarter. Of course the food was excellent being that it is New Orleans but not only was Naif very knowledgable about the food itself. He is also a local and a former teacher who answered questions about the origin of the foods within the political/historic atmosphere of the time. He also pointed out architecture and was able to answers all sorts of general inquiries regarding French Quarter/New Orleans. Naif even got our feedback on the foods to try and rotate through his selections and give guests the best possible experience. If you are looking for a food tour with excellent food coupled a relaxed but informative commentary: You’re safe with NaifGraham McDonald2024-06-21A most delightful three hours or so with Naif and a trainee guide Kevin (also a local historian). Just the right length of time and just the right amount of food, ending up feeling full, but not too full. Mixed up with information about the food was an insight into the history of New Orleans, its culture and its people, all presented in an engaging manner. Highly recommended and the duck gumbo will linger in the memory.Devon Olner2024-06-15Naif was knowledgeable, compassionate, kind & funny. He made us feel welcome and educated. A natural at what he does, we recommend him and this tour 10/10! The food was incredible (we stopped by 5 places) and our guide was superb. We had a chance to meet a new tour guide named Kevin. If you have an opportunity to work with him, you’re in for a treat! Gaston (the gator mascot) was really the star of the show… I will miss him.HMB2024-05-26Naif gave us great tour! A Louisiana native, he added his own experiences which made his stories come to life. Highly recommend!Mike Novia2024-05-24Our tour guide, Naif, provided us with an authentic experience and was knowledgeable on the history of the food and the city. Each of the food locations we went to had tasty food and drinks as well as hospitable service. We were lucky enough to not be in a large group, so we were able to spend extra time touring the city. Naif went above and beyond what was expected. I highly recommend this tour! Naif will make you feel more like a friend than a tourist. Thanks for everything, Naif! P.S. Gaston the Gator was fun to hangout with. He was a head turner for the ladies as we toured the French Quarter.Jill Turgeon2024-05-19We loved our time in the French Quarter on the tour.
